SUMMARY:Christingle Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Due to difficulties aligning diaries in the run up to Christmas\, we won’t be holding a carol concert this year. However\, we’ll be holding our inaugural Christingle service\, led by Linda Buckley (District Chaplain). \nWe invite all youth members and adult volunteers to join us for some singing\, a short reflection and Christingle lighting. The evening will be fun\, inclusive and open to those of all faiths and beliefs! \n📍 Where: St Elphin’s Church\, WA1 2TL\n🗓️ When: Tuesday 28th January at 6:30pm \nMore details will follow through sectional team leads as we would like some representatives from across the sections to play a role in the Christingle lighting.

SUMMARY:Essex International Jamboree
DESCRIPTION:EIJ2024 is coming!\nWe will be returning to Boyton Cross\, Chelmsford from the 27th July to 3rd August 2024 for another unforgettable seven days and nights\, bringing Scouts and Guides together from across the UK and around the world. \nIn 2016\, we saw 10\,000 of us (including over 2\,000 volunteers) come together\, making international friendships and challenging ourselves with over 100 activities from abseiling to zorbing. \n  \nThe Jamboree requires an army of volunteers to provide an amazing experience for all our participants and leaders. \nWant to get involved as a volunteer?
